Ciao,
Okay so I am low-key obsessed with anything Frank Miller’s hands draw, and recently I decided to read all the Sin City comics for myself and I decided the greatest thing about Miller’s sketches is how each page could be framed and hung on a wall (and part of me wants any future house I have to do that. So I thought I’d compile my favourite images from each comic for your viewing pleasure:
Sin City
A Dame To Kill For
Okay so I could’ve uploaded 100 images for this one comic, but I choose one. I did this because in one damn page Miller manages to sum up that feeling of drowning, the one when you fall in love with a guy across the bar and your eyes meet and you stop breathing. Here Ava is that man across the bar and the blinding white surroundings are the sea: are any other words necessary apart from “Ava Damn”?
Sin City: Hell and Back
So this is probably my favourite of all the Sin City comic, and I’m going to stop myself gushing over it’s beauty like a nerd watching the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and just let you guys see for yourself what happens when Miller drops the neo-noir lens just enough to let some colour in.
Love as always,
L Xx
